Riot Platforms’ new Irvine office, designed by Hendy, features a unique layout with a focal point converging at the center, optimized for views and collaboration, embodying innovation and company culture.

Riot Platforms stands at the forefront of the Bitcoin mining industry, renowned for its commitment to efficiency, innovation, and rapid growth. As the company moved from its previous office, it sought to fully customize a space that would reflect its dedication to quality, culture, and the modern workplace. Located in Irvine, CA, Riot’s new 5,900-square-foot office features a distinctive layout, with the building’s design converging to a point at the center of the space.

One of the initial design challenges was optimizing the floor plan to showcase the dramatic point of expansive windows, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape and community below. Hendy overcame this by strategically positioning private offices and huddle rooms along the outskirts of the office, while leaving a spacious open office area at the center to accommodate the growing team and encourage employees to gather and collaborate in the office. Hendy embraced the challenge of pushing creative boundaries, seamlessly integrating architectural elements that elevate the office’s function and aesthetic.
